Nicola joined Julian Taylor Solicitors in 2006. She is an employment law specialist who provides expert advice to both corporate and individual clients on a wide range of employment law matters including discrimination, complex misconduct and grievance situations, absence and performance management, company restructures, and changes to terms and conditions. She also has experience of advising on employment status, consultancy arrangements, and the Commercial Agents Regulations.
Nicola frequently advises on Employment Tribunal proceedings. She has experience of handling matters in the Employment Appeal Tribunal as well as in the High Court. She is commonly involved in the negotiation of settlements in the context of disputes.
Nicola also provides business immigration advice. This includes advising companies on sponsorship licence applications, visa applications, and compliance and best practice when it comes to corporate duties as a sponsor.
Prior to joining Julian Taylor Solicitors, Nicola studied Law at St John’s College, Cambridge, and went on to do her Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice. She trained and qualified as an employment law specialist with a leading law firm with offices in London and the Thames Valley.
